Having over 4000 hours of tactical law enforcement training, Mike A. is a seven- year veteran of the United States Army Military Police. As a non-commissioned officer, Mike served as a squad leader and assistant platoon sergeant on several deployments and had duties including patrol supervisor, firearms instructor, range master, and combat arms instructor. Mike then served as a police officer in Western Pennsylvania as a SWAT team commander, patrol supervisor, firearms instructor and range master, adjunct police academy firearms instructor and field training officer. Mike received multiple awards including 13 medals and ribbons in the US Army and multiple commendations on the police department, including Officer of the Year and the Preventing a Catastrophe award. After retirement from police work, Mike has continued to work as a range master and firearms instructor with multiple corporations and his own small business.
